ELA Week of 10/1

Our focuses in ELA this week will be:
  • Extending knowledge of your historical fiction era by doing outside research
  • Using fiction to develop "truths" of the time period (with support from our background knowledge)
  • Leaning on group members to push our thinking beyond the text
  • Continuing to use journals and sticky notes to represent thinking over time
We will be near the end of our first unit - historical fiction! Students should continue to read 20-30 minutes at home for homework.

Laufenberg - Metalogs are due on Wednesday

Golf Field Trip 10/11/18

The 7th graders will be going to Lake Windsor Country Club on Thursday, October 11 to put their golf skills to the test.
